About Dr. del Rosario

CLINCIAL & SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST – PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENTS – THERAPY

Dr. del Rosario , Psy. D., C. Psych., is a registered school psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents.

Jeffrey del Rosario, Psy.D., C. Psych. is a registered child and adolescent clinical and school psychologist who provides various psychological services, including psycho-educational and psycho-diagnostic assessments, individual therapy and consultation support services. Dr. del Rosario prides himself in developing customized treatment plans to support each client’s unique strengths and areas of needs.

Jeff has extensive experience working with clients who have many common childhood diagnoses, such as learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and intellectual disabilities as well as anxiety related disorders.

He received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois and his Bachelor of Science at The University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Over the last 15 years, Dr. del Rosario has been providing psychological services for different agencies who serve children and adolescent populations. His pre-doctoral internship was conducted at Switzer Learning Center in Torrance, California, where he provided assessment and therapy services to elementary and secondary school students with severe social-emotional and academic difficulties. Dr. del Rosario’s recent experiences includes working as a clinical psychologist at Lutherwood in Waterloo, Ontario, in addition to Boomerang Health (powered by SickKids) in Vaughan, Ontario.

Dr. del Rosario currently works as a school psychologist with the Peel District School Board, where he works in both elementary and secondary schools as well as an alternative program setting.

Due to conflict of interest, he is currently unable to assess students from the Peel District School Board.
